Nigerian NIN requirements and application

Since January 2022 and in partnership with Knowledge Square Nigeria Limited, Ecobank Nigeria and Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) Greece, Global International has introduced the NIN enrolment service to Nigerians living across borders.

National Identification Number (NIN) is a personal identification number that verifies the identity of all Nigerians. As of 2019, all Nigerian passports issued also carry the passport holder's National Identification Number. Your NIN will be needed to apply for the new Nigerian passport.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION

  • Valid ID (any of the following):
    a) Nigerian International Passport
    b) Nigerian National ID Card
    c) Nigerian Drivers License

  • Application fee

  • Book an appointment. You will be required to present your appointment slip

  • Applicants with Bank Verification Number (BVN) should have it available when they attend their appointments
